2025 – Running in Squares

I’m 45, √2025=45, time for a 2025 square based running challenge! I’ve ordered a custom OS Map centred on my village. 20km² = 400 map squares to visit. I’m going to attempt to visit them all. On foot. From my front door. Inspiration via @MElcoate.

400 squares, from open moorland to inner city industry, centred on my village of Uppermill. Should be fun.

I’m planning on taking a photo (square of course) in each square too. Would have shared on Insta once upon a time, but can’t stand the mess that is that place any more. I think I’ll just post them on here, unless someone has a better suggestion? Also any fancy tips/scripts for adding OS map references / plotting photos on OS map welcome!

To add a final extra challenge or two in, I’ll also be trying to make my way to each trig point (as per https://trigbagging.co.uk/trig-pillar-map/) and each summit (as per https://summitbag.com/map).
